Aegisthus had been an actor for a small provincial theater. He often said: "When I go I do not want tears, as when the curtain closes I just want a long round of applause. " Thomas had been blind friend of a friendship and when the curtain came down really to Aegisthus took Thomas's friends at the bar and offered to drink at all.
